You Buy, I'll Fly!

So those who don't know me. I live with the extraordinarily talented Chef #georgeann_leaming. Georgeann likes to do food contests. Her dream is to be on #TopChef. So naturally she's competitive AF. So, one day I came home to a box and in it was this beautiful hunk of beef from #openprairienatural sponsored by #tysonfoodservice & #chefsroll for the #Greatwideopencontest. Needless to say, I was excited to see what I was going to eat very soon. So, like a day or two later Georgeann goes to work on her plate. After serious deliberating the final decision and taking numerous pics. I finally got to eat, and it was delicious.

After she submitted her dish to the contest we soon found out she Won. We both couldn't believe it. An all-expense paid trip to #TheRanchatRockcreek. It's the most magnificent place. It reminded me of summer camp at Camp Don Bosco. In the morning you chose an activity and after lunch you chose another. We planned out our few days there ahead of time. So many choices of what to do. Similar to camp they had a lot of activities like horse riding, shooting range and something I longed to do in #Montana, Fly Fishing. Ever since I've watched #riverrunsthrough it with the late-great #RobertRedford, I longed to Fly Fish in a majestic Montana river and by golly we did.

They picked us up from the airport and drove us an hour through the beautiful countryside of #Montana. That first night we sat by the fire in their lounge had a drink and waited for dinner time. The food was definitely top notch; we couldn't get enough. They had an open bar, bowling lanes and plenty of space to walk around under the #Bigsky. Needless to say we fell for this place.

The ambiance, hospitality and experience of The Rock Creek Ranch is something that will live with me for a very long time or until I can make it back. Montana has definitely become one of my favorite states to revisit. We were welcomed and we are #Thankful.
